I’m going to start something new- #Marleylillymonday. I am OBSESSED with @Marleylilly so I will post my favorite products every Monday. Simple. This week, I picked the Casserole Tote in Pink and Black Damask. I’m getting this for my Big for her bridal shower, along with a casserole dish and maybe a cookbook. I love giving unusual gifts, and she’s from a big Italian family, so I know it will get plenty of use. I’m going to have it embroidered with her soon-to-be monogram, I think in white with something super scripty.

Here’s my problem with this… I don’t think my girl Marilyn EVER said this. At the height of her popularity, women were gaining weight to look like her. Don’t get me wrong I ADORE Marilyn. She was sexy as hell and I’m sure she said lots of witty things. I just don’t think this was one of them. One of my fraternity brothers actually calls me Marilyn, for a reason I will explain to you if you ask nicely. That being said, I sort of get where this quote is coming from. But honestly, clothes size are irrelevant. I am a zero at Anne Taylor Loft. I’m a six at Old Navy. I think as long as you’re happy (and healthy), numbers shouldn’t matter. I eat what I want, I go to the gym when I can. I’ve lost 30 pounds since college, just because I’m living a healthier lifestyle. Make good choices, take care of yourself, and find your sexy.

Got my first Piperlime package today! Ordered it Sunday and my gorgeous Etienne Aigner boot are already here. Plus, how cute is their packaging!?!

“The weather outside is weather.” Being an east-coast girl I have pretty much experienced it all- blizzards, droughts, hurricanes, tornadoes… even earthquakes. My university was literally built on a cranberry bog (genius. naht.) and flooded all the time. I had ADORABLE Dooney and Bourke pink rain boots with the little rainbow DBs that I literally put holes in. I replaced them with (terrible) Coach wellies from TJ Maxx. I’m shameless Maxxonista but these were not a good purchase. They’re not even comfortable and they just look weird. I’m a HUGE fan of these Wyre Valley boots.
